The New Direction
On Wednesday and Thursday, November 18 and 19, 2009, we will be offering a response to the increasingly pervasive appeal for guidance in renewing Records and Information Management programs. This latest of our semi-annual Seminars will be organized to reflect the assumption that your RIM program has undergone upheaval during the past few years, and that you are now searching for guidance in its renewal, in order that it may better conform to legislation, policy, best practices and standards, while serving your organization in an operationally appreciable way. We have considered what topics do and should contribute to providing you with The New Direction.
Day 1 of the Seminar is intended primarily for Government of Canada (GC) employees and stakeholders, and so will provide sessions that offer guidance consistent with major initiatives and messages of the GC IM central agencies. Day 2 will offer numerous parallel break-out sessions, each providing a practical solution, technique, action plan or case study that corresponds to and will help you in applying the particular direction of Day 1, and that will be of interest to all IM practitioners. Consequently, this fun and instrumental program will provide attendees from both the private and public sectors with an opportunity to create their own unique and highly relevant educational experience.
We are also happy to offer optional workshops on Friday, November 20, each intended to complement the Seminar content !
Once again, the ARMA-NCR Chapter is providing you with an affordable way to invest in your organization's most valuable assets - your employees.
