The Provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, as well as the Office of the Ombudsman of New Brunswick, the Nova Scotia Review Office, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of PEI, and the Halifax Regional Municipality are proud to present the 5th Annual Maritime Access & Privacy Workshop (formerly known as the Atlantic Canada A&P Workshop). This workshop is a great opportunity to meet, network and share ideas with colleagues from the access and privacy community across the Maritime Provinces. This event will be held on June 24, 2009 at the Halifax Marriott Habourfront in Halifax, NS.

This event has come a long way from its conception, from creating an A&P community in the Maritime Provinces to identifying challenges and sharing solutions. As our government(s) become more open, new changes will take place. These oncoming changes call for an assessment for the future, and so provides the basis for this year's theme: "Accessing the Future: Exploring the Information and Privacy Landscape."

This year's conference has been streamlined to offer more isolated sessions geared towards the areas you have wanted to explore and study. This has also allowed us to offer the event at a more reasonable price, and over the span of only one day; cutting down travel costs and time away from your organization.
