Newfoundland and Labrador Access & Privacy Workshop 2009
May 27, 2009 • Holiday Inn Government Centre • St.John's, NL

ANNOUNCING Optional Half-Day Workshops presented by CAPAPA

CAPAPA Presents: Eric Lawton, Manager of Information, Privacy and Technology Corporate Access and Privacy Office with the City of Toronto presents the Capability Maturity Model. Capability Maturity Models (CMMs) have been used in many industries to analyze business processes strengths and weaknesses and the steps that should be taken to improve those business processes. This workshop will introduce you to the concept of Capability Maturity Models and how they can be applied in an access and privacy office for targeting resources to achieve the maximum impact.

Renée Pendergast, Manager and Facilitator of Training with NL's Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Office presents a hands-on approach to processing ATIPP requests through to the 30 day time frame allowed under the legislation.

Both workshops are a great 1/2 day and hands-on learning opportunity that will enhance your conference experience, and give you invaluable one-on-one time with these expert facilitators. Visit the agenda page for further details. Include them in your registration or call 613-226-8317 to upgrade your already confirmed registration.

* Workshops are an additional $150 each.
