Who should attend?

Understanding Ontario’s access and privacy legislation and the related challenges facing organizations covered by that legislation is necessary for legal compliance, but also service excellence.

Access and privacy is no longer a topic of interest only to freedom of information and privacy coordinators. Anyone in the broader public sector whose work is impacted by the province’s access and privacy legislation would benefit from attending this Workshop.

At the Workshop will be staff and managers from provincial institutions, municipalities, colleges, universities, police services, and other parts of the broader public sector from the following communities:

  • access and privacy
  • policy
  • legal
  • information management and technology
  • communications and issues management
  • security
  • program and service delivery, and
  • human resources.
