Ontario's Office of the Chief Information and Privacy Officer (OCIPO), Ministry of Government Services, works with ministries and agencies to establish greater discipline and a consistent approach to managing government information. The Office is leading the implementation of an OPS-wide information management strategy that focuses on information as a key asset of government while providing leadership and building capacity. The OCIPO also aims to achieve greater discipline and consistency of IM practice while developing tools to help ministries and agencies to monitor their progress.
