Ontario's Office of the Chief Information and Privacy Officer (OCIPO), Ministry of Government and Consumer Services, works with ministries and agencies to establish greater discipline and a consistent approach to managing government information. The Office is leading the implementation of an OPS-wide information management strategy that focuses on information as a key asset of government while providing leadership and building capacity. The OCIPO also aims to develop tools to help ministries and agencies to monitor their progress in managing their information.
