The Office of the Saskatchewan Information and Privacy Commissioner, Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, and Manitoba Ombudsman perform a similar role in each of their respective provinces. Although they have subtle differences, all are independent offices with jurisdiction over all or some of the following:
